Introduced in the second manga serialization and anime adaptation, Kokoa is the younger half-sister of Moka Akashiya. She arrives as a first-year student to Yōkai Academy. Like her sister, Kokoa is also a vampire, but her powers are not sealed and she does not carry the same supernatural strength Moka possesses, supposedly because she is still young. To compensate, she has a pet bat, Ko (Nazo Koumori in the anime), that can transform into a variety of weapons and wields it with enough strength to make herself formidable.

Appearance Edit

Bearing a slightly similiar appearance to her sister Moka, Kokoa has bright green eyes but unlike her sister, she has flaming orange hair which she has tied back into two high ponytails. She has fair skin and wears a different uniform compared to her fellow first year students. She instead, wears a red shirt tied in the front by a bow with the same skirt that the females wear. Her shoes are dress shoes, similiar to gothic lolita styled shoes, they are black with plaid bows tied at the toes. When taking the Suku-Suku drops (growing drops) created by Yukari, Kokoa turns into a woman of Moka's age. The difference is her height and her body becomes more developed, until she realize the unknown side effect too late: once the effectiveness is over, not only she go back to a girl, but in fact shorter than she actually begin with.

Personality Edit

Kokoa can be energetic and kind if she gets to know someone. She worships Inner Moka, but hates the sweet Outer fake personality. Despite how many times she's told something, Kokoa never listens to her elders. However, she has a mutual respect between herself and Yukari. Though a bit indifferent about Tsukune, Kokoa grows to like him in the back of her mind. Also noted, she is smug and snobby, thinking vampires are superior to all other monsters and humans, but actually fears the enemy secretly, despite not letting this fear be shown. Examples of this include her fear of Akua and Kalua and not to mention her comical fear of Ms. Shizuka Nekonome. But she can also be brave and determined as such when she was little and refused to give up on beating Moka.

• As a parallel to her sister's, Kokoa's name may be an intended pun on the word "Cocoa".
• Kokoa was born in November just like Moka.She has the same birthday as her sister, but is younger by a year's reach.
• Kokoa and Kahlua are true sisters. They have the same mother despite the difference in their physical appearance.
• Kokoa refused to play with Kahlua when they were young, being terrified of her.
• Kokoa dyed her hair, she actually has the same hair color as Kahlua.
